It's Friday night, I'm sitting on my bed, just finished a bowl of easy mac, and I'm trying to get my internet to cooperate enough to watch an episode of Cake Boss.

Does this sound like a bit of a pitiful situation? It does a little bit when you think about it. But I'm really not bothered in the slightest. Trust me, there have been times in the past when similar situations to this one have occured and it has led me to tears, anger, frustration and all around discontent. But I feel the opposite on this Friday night.

For one thing, I actually am not destined to sit here all night long. I am going to a wedding reception tonight in a little while, which excites me because I have been CRAVING wedding cake for days and days!!!! I'm praying they have good cake, and that I get to eat some.

After the reception, I'ma watch Sydney White which was graciously delivered to me by Netflix, my non-human best friend. Perhaps someone will watch it with me, perhaps not, I really don't care.

Also, today has been a pretty fantastic day. I went scuba diving at the Crater in Midway. Have you ever been there? It's great. The water is wonderfully warm, and it was just fun. I am almost finished becoming a certified scuba diver. Are you impressed? You should be. I'm terribly cool. I'm going to miss going to that scuba class.

After we got home I got to talk to my best friend on skype/phone for a while. We need to figure out how to fix the sound huh Whit? :) I love love LOVE her, and any time I talk to her it makes me happy.

And then I watched a movie at my lovely friend Marissa's house. I adore her. She's beautiful and sweet and talented and so fun to be with. She and I can talk for hours straight and never run out of things to say. We can go months without seeing each other but still pick everything right back up, there's never any pettiness or hard feelings. Don't you just love people like that? She's great. It was fabulous seeing her.

This post is becoming somehow a bit more longwinded than I meant it to. Sorry friends. I suppose though, it's my blog I can do whatever I want with it. ;)

Well, I hope that your Friday is as excellent as mine with be!

Love,
Am

That doesn't sound like too bad a night at all! I had planned on an all-day homework party, but that only worked out for a few hours. Now I'm hitting the ol' standby, the piano. I actually really want tomorrow to come - hours of skiing with a buddy!

I think it's a great night, but I am a home body so I like simple things. This week has been crazy, but we have to get together soon.
