yay for impulse buys

Today. Presidents Day. The daycare is still open so I had to work at 9. But then realized that I didn't have to work in Draper. Best news of my life.

So instead of making some moola I thought I'd park myself in my bed for a while and watch some friends. Two hours later I had purchased these:



From Amazon. Don't fret that I have a strappier version of these in gold, that I already have black heels or that I was just given a pair of tan ones yesterday. I had to have them. They were only fifteen dollars. I want Friday to come so I can have them.

I don't know what came over me but I just had this MAD desire to spend money. I can't tell you how long it's been since I have bought myself something. I've been so concerned about saving everything I earn for New York and next semester. So when this urge came, I couldn't fight it. I set a limit and took my lil sis shopping (ps, she just turned 13. She's the baby. Our family is growing up!!!).

I got some dang great steals in the form of jewelry, shirts and a $4.75 movie. I was very good at not buying the whole store. Trust me, I wanted to. Yay for impulse shopping!
