When it reaches this point of the semester, everyone is freaking out about their finals in all of their classes.
...
I don't actually think that any of my classes have finals.
I've got a few tests,
But I probably won't set foot in the testing center.
Instead, I have to worry about juries.
Juries are a nightmare.
When you are a music major, you take music major lessons for your instrument, and the grade that you get for that course is determined by a jury that you sing for at the end of the semester.
They also decide if you get to keep going as a music major.
Scary?
Yeah.
I did this last semester and it resulted in my only B+. I was just thrilled that I passed.
This semester will be no different,
Execpt that I am accompany 4 girls
So I'll actually be going to 5 different juries, including my own.
Awesome.
I'm practicing like mad.
Not just my voice and the songs I have to SING,
But the 15ish songs that I also have to be able to PLAY.
Because if an accompanist messes up, it messes everything up.
I do not want to be the girl that ruined someones jury.
