simple joys: catch up

Once upon a time the power chord for my computer is broken. As much as I want to blame my brother, it was most definitely my fault. So on Sunday I ordered a new one that should hopefully be here by tomorrow. But since then, my computer has been kept off so I won't kill the battery.

So I really only have access to work computers after I've clocked out. So this will be short. I've just had a lot of simple joys in my life lately and I wanted to quickly acknowledge them.

Simple joy: The family ward. I love seeing all the little kids and laughing at their antics. I love relief society with those wonderful women. I love sitting with my family and my mom telling me that she doesn't remember ever being that irreverent.

Simple joy: The sacrament. Sometimes going two whole weeks without the sacrament makes a big difference. Last week was stake conference, and there had been a lot of stuff that happened in the two weeks since I last got to take it. It's always a joy to renew covenants.

Simple joy: Friends. I got to reconnect with some of my favorite people this weekend. I was out doing things every night which is something that I haven't been able to say at all during this month that I've been home.

Simple joy: Back to school blessings. It got me so excited to get back up to school and start a great semester.

Simple joy: School started today for my siblings and mom. Tee hee. Suckers. :)

Simple joy: My awesome job. Seriously, it's been such a blessing year after year.

Simple joy: The potential of my future. I can feel that I'm right on the cusp of something exciting. I can feel that I'm being prepared for something specific. I can't wait to discover what it is.

I so love your simple joys posts. I love how when discouragement finds you, you choose to not just accept and dwell deep in it but pull your way out by finding positives. That's a great quality. I think you are amazing.
