simple joy: manning the aid station

This morning we woke up bright and early to be aid station manners/activebands promoters during the Utah Runner Girl's half marathon and 5K. My mom ran this race, her very first half and I'm so proud of her for doing it. Sara and Amanda were fantastic sports and helped out too. We wore our promotional outifts and handed out water and powerade. Sara and I had a not so friendly competition pertaining to water choice to powerade choice. Sara handily won. We got eaten by bees and tried to catch them in cups. I used the outhouse and was the only person to do so. We ate at kneaders after we were done and had a lovely time.

We enjoyed the wildlife...especially the camels.

Thanks for coming girls. It was a riot.
