the adventures of amberly and ashley

After a slight struggle, we managed to find each other at the airport.
After a slightly longer struggle we managed to drive to my house amidst crazy traffic.
We caught each other up on every detail we've missed out on over the last 6 weeks.
We got to catch up with our lovely roommate Whitney.
We killed a spider that made a web between my shoes.
Ashley slept on my floor and I almost stepped on her at 5am when I woke up for work.
We tried valiantly to watch the Office, although my computer failed us.
We went to Target twice. The first time we chickened out. And when I say we, I mean me. I was incoherent from being tired.
We watched Harry Potter at 4 in the afternoon and ate an immense load of junk food.
We went to the Promenade and Ashley bought Toms and I was super jealous.
We saw Cars 2 on a school night and I fell asleep. We liked that we didn't have to go to school.
We slept in my treehouse.
We didn't hike Timp.
We didn't wake up til almost 10.
We made birthday brownies for my mom.
We went hiking with Sam. I forgot my memory card so there are no pictures.
I thought we were going to the waterfall but we couldn't find it. We came over the mountain and saw the valley and our legs turned to jello when we came down.
Sam took us to lunch for my birthday. We suprised Whitney and work and Amy gave me free fried ice cream because of my birthday.
Sam and I tried to put hot sauce in Ashley's salsa but then he ruined it and told her. Fail Sam.
I happily ate my pork toquito while Ashley and Sam analyzed their Mexican dishes.
We picked up the junior high girls for my mom.
We made our second Target expedition and hit the jackpot of bra sales.
We tie dyed our sports bras and t-shirts and I was in a foul mood because tie dyeing is not my strength.
We got all gussied up and went to Pirate Island for some Latin dancing.
I danced with at least 7 middle aged Mexican men. I was the hot commodity in that club. Seriously.
We were spun, dipped, thrown and flaunted and we loved it.
We crashed in the treehouse again and woke up feeling very cold and damp.
We washed our tie dyed shirts and found that they looked ok after all.
We got strawberry limeades from Sonic to get us through the drive to the airport.
I dropped her off with no struggle at all and we hugged and laughed and gratefully said "See you in a week!"

We had the best 3 days ever. I love Ashley so much. I'm so glad that she came into my life. We will always ben the greatest of friends. :)
