Today was my last day at the daycare. :( I am so grateful for the opportunity that I've had to work there. I love the ladies I got to work with and learn from, I love the kids, I'm going to miss them so much. I'll be back in July but goodness, they are going to grow up so fast! My favorite little baby who I just hold will be almost a year old!
It's been so fun to see these kids grow and develop in the 2 1/2 months that I was with them. Some of them would hardly talk at all when I first started and now they are repeating everything I say and working so hard to say words. It's adorable. It's amazing how much they change in such a short amount of time. I honestly am filled with wonder sometimes as I associate with these darling, darling children.
I've always loved kids but this whole daycare experience has really deepened that love and made me very excited for the day when I will have precious babies to call my own. Obviously the time is not right now, but it will happen someday and I am looking forward to it.
But for now I am going to revel in being single and independent. I'm going to travel the world (starting with NYC in 2 days!), get my degree, have all of the experiences that God wants me to have.
It's such a great time to be alive.
