first post about living in provo

Well, the living independently has begun. I've been moved into my new apartment for three days and it's been a lot different than I imagined it would be. I forgot that social experiences usually take work and effort, they don't just magically appear. I think that I was under the impression that the second I moved down to Provo my social life would explode and I would be best friends with everyone and go on dates every night and BAM eternal companion. Needless to say, that is not how it has happened. But that's okay.

I spend my days at work and can I just say, I have the best job. I really enjoy it, especially the people I get to work with. What a huge blessing.

I spend my evenings in an inner battle raging inside of me between trying to meet new people, and watching How I Met Your Mother. The TV show usually wins. Fail.

Today I realized that my right front tire was really flat so I took it to Big O. Forty five minutes later they sent me on my way without even charging me for doing whatever they did and with the advice that I need to fix something about my brakes. Awesome. This is the one downside to having a car. Maintenance, repairs etc. But, it comes with the territory.

All in all, things are good in the life of this girl, and hopefully will go uphill from here.
